The annual USA Wrestling 2026 US Open Events are storming into Las Vegas at The Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas from April 22-26, 2026. Prepare for an adrenaline-fueled wrestling spectacle in dazzling city of Las Vegas, NV!

This year’s event will feature multiple national championships and World Team Trials. It is expected to be another great week of wrestling for athletes of many ages in one of the nation’s most popular tourist destinations.

Team Selection Criteria 

No outside food, beverages or coolers will be allowed in the venue. Athletes ONLY may bring in food/snacks/drinks in their bags. There is no bag policy, so all sized bags will be allowed. 

Divisions:  

• Senior Nationals (Born 2008 or before)
• U20 Nationals & U20 Greco-Roman WTT (2006-2009)
• U17 WTT (2009-2011)
• U15 Nationals (2011-2013)
• UWW Futures Nationals (2014-2016)
• Girls High School National Recruiting Showcase (born 9/1/2006 & After, plus enrolled in 9th-12th grade, athletes cannot be in 8th grade or below)

UWW Futures & Masters Only: 1 WEIGH-IN ONLY, these divisions can weigh-in a single time and it counts for both style (freestyle and greco) if they are actively competing in both styles.

U15 Pan American Championship Selection

U15 Athletes with the highest combined Greco-Roman and Freestyle point values will qualify to compete at the U15 Pan American Championships - Location coming soon

Important Note: Given the tight timeframe between the U15 Nationals and the Pan American Championships, it is crucial to obtain a valid US passport before the Nationals.

• The World Team Trials process is open to all U.S. citizens eligible to represent the United States of America at the World Championships as governed by United World Wrestling (UWW) and USA Wrestling (USAW) rules.
• Athlete must be a United States citizen; and have completed USA sporting nationality with UWW prior to the athlete's World Team and Pan Am Games Tryout event.

Girls High School National Recruiting Showcase (born 9/1/2006 & After, plus enrolled in 9th-12th grade):

National High School Recruiting Showcase Automatic qualifiers:  (must be earned within 9th-12th grade divsions)

• High School State Champions – Any year  
• 2026 High School State Placers (25-26 school year)
• National Prep Champions 

• USA Wrestling National All-American status Place 1st-8th:
  • Girls and Boys 16U/JR Folkstyle Nationals
  • Boys and Girls National High School Recruiting Showcase,
  • Women’s Freestyle Nationals  (U17 & U20)
  • Preseason Nationals (9th-12th grade divisions)
  • Junior & 16U Freestyle/Greco Nationals
• U15 and U17 National Placer (Must be currently enrolled in High School) 
• NHSCA Virginia Beach Placer (9th –12th grade Divisions ONLY)

Masters Nationals (1951-2001)

*Medical certificate is required to compete in Master’s C, D, E, & F and must be turned in during weigh-ins. It must be filled out within 90 days of competition - Click Here for Masters Medical Form for C, D , E & F athletes

Athlete Credentials: All custom credentials will be printed prior to the event. Athletes MUST be registered and have a profile picture attached to their USA Wrestling Membership profile before the April 3rd deadline to receive their tournament credential. If you have not done this already, please put your picture in as soon as possible.

USA Wrestling Event Refund Policy: Your USA Wrestling event purchase through the USA Wrestling membership system (tournament entry, coaches pass, tickets, etc.) is non-refundable. Any cancelation that takes place after purchase, or after the event has been passed, will not be refunded. By completing this event purchase, you understand that all purchases are non-refundable for whatever reason.
