Coach Bo wrestled at American Falls High School under Hall of Fame Coach Jim Giulio and Coach Richard Curry at 106 and every weight up to 145lbs. He earned 3x district champion and 4x state qualifier/state placer and over 100 pins. After playing strong safety for the 5th grade football team while in 4th grade his football coach highly recommended to his parents that he wrestle. From the time he was in middle school through high school he enjoyed helping with the younger wrestling programs.
He was a National Honors student with a Golden A Letterman for 3 sports: four year varsity athlete in wrestling, baseball, and football. Making multiple first/second team all state for center field, catcher (baseball) and Strong Safety, Half Back and special teams positions (football) and Wrestling. In addition, he lettered and won state in FFA sales, Drama and Cheerleading.
Coach Bo also served our country in the Marine Corps. He graduated academically top of his class in 3 military school houses: school of infantry, combat hunter counter insurgency and aviation technician course. He finished his career as a quality insurance inspector (military osha) amongst other certifications and titles.
Selected by supervisors and peers for leadership roles such as a basic training squad leader, combat warfare training platoon leader, fireteam leader, and class leader in aviation school. He has experience instructing as he was an instructor for CPR/Basic life saver, Marine Corps martial arts course and combat hunter tactics.
Another fun fact: He scored an expert marksman for five years at rifle range qualification. When he’s not helping mold the next generation he loves spending time with his family and friends, with his two sons. We are truly blessed to have Coach Bo. Wooooh!
